PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
UNIVERSITY SQUASH PROGRAM
The Academy is focusing on developing squash at university/college level. It is crucial to encourage our youth,
‘The Future Leaders’ to stay active and engage society with positive characters.
The saddest thing in life is wasted talent. The commendable and traditional Asian work ethic insists upon educational focus. Government funding, however, now provides sports scholarships to athletes; permitting simultaneous devotion to sporting and academic excellence. It is firmly the belief of SWSP that higher education is pivotal in turning a promising player to a world-class professional athlete.
In partnership with the Ministry of Education, we seek to:
· Develop a sports culture
· Improve confidence, leadership, and communication skills by exposing participants to events and youth squash
programs
· Create a bigger university squash community
· Help enrol individuals who have good results in education and squash to university
with Ministry of Education sports scholarships
The academy is working closely with: Universiti Malaya, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, University Malaysia Perlis, MAHSA University, International Medical University, INTI International University and Sunway University.
Programs are concentrated around Klang Valley but special arrangements can be made for other areas and states.
- Individual and group lessons (children, adults and high performance/elite players)
- Squash clinics (schools, universities, private companies and government agencies)
- Squash camps
- Local and international friendly matches
- Tournaments

- Promote the game of squash and increase participation
- Encourage an active and healthy lifestyle
- Youth development in schools and universities through squash programs to build positive attributes among younger generations
- To ensure squash lessons are both fun and educational; through goal-setting, mental coaching and sports science
